When our family moved to the Redlands, we hoped our children would have many fond memories of growing up outdoors in such a beautiful location. Then...warm weather arrived and we had a good and proper introduction 

to our most talked about "neighborhood residents"- the midges.

Seeing our kids afraid to go outside and growing anxious if even a window was cracked, was hard to adjust to. This was not the picture we had in mind!
